PETRALIA

PETRALIA is extracted from the Racimo varietal, which is a native Chilean variety and comprises approximately 30% of our plantations.

TASTING NOTES:
Fruitiness: Medium.
Color: Green at the time of extraction, evolving into an intense gold.
Taste: This fresh and fruity young oil offers notes of fresh-cut grass, green tomato, and banana. It maintains its herbal notes over time and becomes slightly bitter.
Aromas: Herbaceous.

NOVELLO

Is extracted from the Black Racimo (50%), Green Racimo (25%) and Liguria (25%) varieties. The olive groves that produce this new oil come from our oldest plantations, many of which are more than fifty years old.

TASTING REMARKS: Frutado Medio, de gran carácter.
Frutiness: Medium, this is a young Extra Virgin Olive Oil with tremendous character
Colour: Intense green and cloudy
Flavours: Grassy, intensely bitter and spicy though well-balanced. Its herbal flavor recalls artichoke, celery, green tomato, green pepper, walnuts, and almonds, making it a highly- complex oil
Aromas: Tomato and almonds.

CANEPA

Is extracted from the Empeltre, Liguria, Racimo, Sevillana and Santa Emiliana olive varieties, which comprise 50% of our total plantations.

TASTING NOTES:
Frutiness: Medium.
Color: Golden yellow at the time of extraction.
Flavours: Young oil tastes slightly bitter and peppery. Acquires sweetness with time. The flavor recalls almonds and walnuts.
Aromas: Almonds.

CASTA Special Selection

The olives used to make CASTA DE PETEROA Special Selection Extra Virgin olive oil come from our olive groves in Sagrada Familia, in the Curicó Valley.
Our olive groves were planted between 1948 and 1950, making this the country’s oldest estate dedicated to Extra Virgin Olive Oil production. CASTA DE PETEROA Special Selection Extra Virgin olive oil is extracted from the Liguria and Empeltre varieties, which comprise 20% of our plantations.

TASTING COMMENTS: Frutiness: Excellent, well-balanced, fruity oil.
Color: Light green at the time of extraction.
Flavours: Nicely bitter, peppery and fresh, with notes of tomato and artichoke. Aromas: Tomato, and herbaceous notes.

This time, we have improved our oil mixed breed with chia oil, which has a large component of omega 3 and antioxidants.
