During the current year, the wine industry in Chile had one of its toughest vintages ever remembered. Heavy rains during the weekend in mid-April produced losses of more than 30% of the production, and the rest of harvested will show an evident decrease in quality.

It is expected to be a quick transition harvest to wait for a more auspicious 2017.

However, TerraMater remains optimistic that high quality wines will be produced, as has been the case in Chile in other difficult years.
